Airsoft is a game in which participants eliminate opponents by hitting each other with spherical non metallic pallets using the gun. This game play varies in style and composition. Participants emulate equipments and accessories used by military and police organizations.

History:

The origin of these guns originated in Japan. These equipments are designed closely to emulate real guns. Many law enforcement agencies in United States use these types of guns for training purpose.

Ballistics and Velocity

Gas Powered Guns

These guns are capable of automatic and semi automatic operation. The most common used gas is the "Green Gas" and "Propane" which requires an adaptor. Less commonly used gas is the "Red Gas" with CO2 and nitrogen/high pressure air. The first gas powered air guns are refereed as "CLASSIC GUNS". These guns were powered by liquid propellants.

Hybrid Guns

Hybrid guns are the new types of guns. Hybrid guns are usually Gas blowback Guns. These guns are usually more powerful.
